In today’s fast paced world, quietening the mind can seem an impossible task. Our thoughts and emotions play an important role in our general wellbeing. Understanding how to calm the mind in tandem with working with the body can have a significant benefit on our overall health.

Kundalini Yoga is a practice that offers an opportunity to tune into the inward states of both mind and body so we can learn how to self-regulate, self-soothe and look after ourselves from the inside out. Regardless of age or physical ability it is a practice for everyone and works with all systems of the physical body as well as encouraging a connection to the mind, thus giving us the possibility to change the way we feel.

I am a Kundalini Yoga teacher and an Integrative Psychotherapist. I am currently taking a sabbatical from teaching weekly classes. New classes will be announced when they become available.

“People need different doors to come into the room, so to speak, of self-awareness and self-knowing. Some people just can’t go through the mind door. They get the body door instantly. For others the opposite is true.” Jon Kabat-Zinn
